MyPoints
Working
Is MyPoints legit and worth your time or should you use other options instead to
earn a bit of extra cash online? My name is Mikael from PaidFromSurveys.com and
in this MyPoints review and tutorial I will give you an inside look and a
guided tour so you can see exactly what to expect if you decide to join.
have now logged in to MyPoints and let me just reveal right away that it is a
legit site and it has several ways where you can earn a bit of extra cash online.
There are quite a lot of different options here. So it can be a bit
confusing at first, but I will go through the main ways you can earn here and show
you exactly how to do it, so you can see how to easily get started if you decide
to join after watching this review. So even though MyPoints offers a lot of
different tasks in here, the main thing that it is really good for is if you
ever shop online. Because it is a great cash back site. That means that if you do
any online shopping, you can do it through MyPoints and when you do that
you get a percentage of what you spend back into your MyPoints account. So if
you're going to shop anyways, it is a great way to save some money. And by
going here you can see a long list of all the shops that you can get a cash
back offer for through MyPoints. And there really are a lot and some of them
have coupons, which is just another way you can get a discount where you get the
discount immediately and then there is a cashback where you get the points back
into your MyPoints account. But you can easily get an overview here and when you
just scroll through you can see the long list, this is just with the stores that
are starting with A. And there are some really big stores here. So almost no
matter what you shop online, if you ever shop online you can definitely find some
great offers here. And usually you can very clearly see how many MyPoints you
get per dollar you spend in any store. And later I will explain exactly how
much these points are worth when you're trying to cash them out. But overall if
you ever shop online, MyPoints has a really really good selection of offers
here that you can take advantage of. I mentioned the coupons before and you can
actually find an overview of just the coupons by going here. And
there is also a section with grocery coupons. And here you can find coupons
through coupons.com and whenever you print one you get one point. And if you
then redeem this in a grocery shop you will get 25 points into your MyPoints
account. These are coupons that you actually have to take to a physical
store, so it is a little bit different than the online shopping opportunity. But
that means that you have a chance to get some savings by taking coupons here. So
both you get a saving and then you get points into your MyPoints account at
the same time. A great way to earn some extra cash on MyPoints is through the
surveys tab. And here you can find quite a lot of paid surveys and you can right
away see how many points you get and approximately how long the survey will
take. The value for your time here is not quite as high as on survey sites that
are specialized in surveys, but it has quite a good amount of surveys here. So
it can definitely be a way to have your opinion heard and earn a bit extra at
the same time. But MyPoints is not as such specialized in surveys, so it is not the
absolute best opportunities here, but they definitely still have good options
to take these surveys. You can also see something called Deals and Travel up
here. And these options are just more deals, more offers you can take and earn
some points by taking those offers, mostly cashback. And if you go to the
Travel section, that's where you can find all the cashback options you have if you
book hotels, flights, cars or vacations and things like that. So if you ever shop
holidays online, then it can be worth checking out MyPoints and see if you
can make some great savings on your next holiday. The last option I just want to
show is what's called Games. Because you can earn some points into MyPoints
account if you play games online. However it is not just by playing, it is if you
spend any money in some of these games. You can see if you for example play Angry
Birds, you will get four points into your MyPoints account per dollar you spend.
So you would have to spend money to earn by playing these games. But if you play
any of these games and spend money on them anyways, then it can be worth doing
it here and then you will save a bit by doing that. MyPoints also has some great
bonus opportunities. You can see there for example is what's called a Daily
Goal. And here you're told how many points you need to earn in a certain day
and if you earn those points you will get some extra bonus points.
And if you have a streak of several days, you will earn extra bonus points. So if
you are active anyways, then it can be a nice way to earn some extra bonus points.
The same goes for this Daily Five. Here you get five bonus points if you do any
five activities in one day. And you can easily get an overview of what tasks you
can do to get these bonus points. It's not a lot of bonus points, but if you are active
anyways, you will also earn by doing the things themselves and then you will
get these extra bonus points. There is also what's called Point Perks which is
basically just a promo code that is what it's called on many other sites. You can
find these sometimes on MyPoints social media channels and then just put the
code here and get a few free points. They do not post them that often but they do
it regularly, so it can be worth keeping an eye on their social media channels if
you decide to join MyPoints. You can also invite friends to join MyPoints
and both of you can earn a bonus by doing this. You will get some points when
they accept your invitation, you will get some points when they spend twenty
dollars or more. And they will also get a bonus and then you can get some bonus
points for what they earn after that. So if you know a lot of people that are
interested in joining, it can be a nice way to earn a bit extra. And if you after
watching this tutorial want to join MyPoints and want to support me and join
through my invitation link, you are more than welcome to do that.
I will leave a link below this video here, so you can go to the full review on
my website and find the link there, that's completely up to you. But in
general, if you want to invite people to join, it can be a way to earn a bit extra
on MyPoints. So before getting to how you can then get your earnings out, there are
a couple of important things I want to point out. First of all who can even join
MyPoints? And you can only join MyPoints if you live in the US or Canada,
at the moment of recording this review. So if you live in any other country, you
have to find other cash back sites instead. You also need to be aware that
they offer a great joining bonus. You can get a $10 Amazon gift card or a $10 Visa
gift card just by signing up. However there are some conditions, you can read
them here: you have to spend $20 or more on any shop within 30 days of signing up
and then you will get these ten dollars for free. And this again shows that
MyPoints is mainly a cash back site. So if you shop online and you are planning
to shop anyway, you can sign up and then you can get this joining bonus, you get
the discounts for shopping online and you get this joining bonus if you spend
twenty dollars or more within your first month of joining.
So let's now get to how you can get your earnings out from MyPoints. And I think
it has really great options here. It has a huge selection of gift cards and other
options. You can sort by value here or you can go here and search for a
specific reward. If you for example want PayPal, you can see that they do offer
that and you click and you can see how many points you need to get your
earnings out. They do have different options ten, twenty five, fifty or a hundred
dollars. So the minimum payout threshold is ten dollars, which is fairly low. And
for some of the other rewards, I will show in a minute, it is even lower. For
PayPal it means that one hundred and fifty nine points is worth one dollar, so
you can kind of calculate it like that when you see a cash back offer gives
a certain amounts of points or a survey gives a certain amount of points, how many
you need or how much it would be worth in dollars. If we look at some of the
other rewards, you can see that the payout threshold is different. For Amazon
gift cards you can get a payout already when you have earned $1.00 and in this
case you would then have to pay 250 points for $1. But if you wait til you
have earned more and take out more money, you get better value for your points. So this
is definitely something that is worth to consider to look at what rewards you can
get and look at exactly what the value is and if it's worth waiting till later.
And sometimes they even have discounts for certain rewards. So it can pay to
wait a little bit and be a bit patient and take them out. But overall the payout
threshold is very low here and it has a very big selection of different gift
cards and you can also get paid in cash if you prefer that. Overall MyPoints is
legit and you can earn here by taking cash back offers or doing other small
tasks. I would say that it is first of all worth it if you ever shop online. It
has a really really big selection of online stores and also offline stores
where you can get some great deals and you can earn points when you spend money
online anyways. But it also has some great bonus opportunities and other
small tasks you can do to earn extra. And I really like the low payout threshold and
the big selection of rewards it has. And if you
want to know even more details about MyPoints, I have a full review on my
